Innovation Technology Partners Inc. (INNOVTEC) is a dynamic and diverse company, formed by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals in the 3D laser scanning industry. Our founders and directors have been working with this technology since its first commercial inception in the 1990’s.
Our know-how and expertise includes the execution of a hundreds of projects for buildings documentation (BIM and non BIM – existing and new) ranging from medium to very large sized projects. We are experts at generating a wide range of information including 2D, 3D, 4D, 5D and CAD deliverables in a wide range of formats.
INNOVTEC’s core team and its partners excel in the planning, management and execution of projects that require the use of the most advanced measurement technologies available (including 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry and precision metrology). They also have an unsurpassed understanding of how to integrate these technologies within new and evolving concepts and processes—BIM, Collaborative Design, Virtual Design and Construction, 4D, nD, etc.
Innovation Technology Partners Inc. is a company that makes reality useful. We do this by utilizing 3D imaging systems and application specific software that electronically captures existing physical structures and objects and turns the resulting images into highly accurate 3D CAD models, 2D as-built drawings, and intelligent Building Information Models (BIM).
Innovation Technology Partners Inc. brings to the buildings and construction industries a unique business model that combines highly synergistic groups of individuals and companies to solve technological problems and provide innovative solutions to complex design, construction, manufacturing, and project management issues. Our primary emphasis is to the activities involving the renovation of buildings, process plants and complex structures.
We are a 3D imaging and documentation service provider. Our team of experienced laser scanning service providers, architects, engineering firms and contractors are highly experienced in the execution of major 3D imaging and documentation projects. Our focus is different from the majority of current service providers in that we emphasize our participation in most or all of the design and construction activities of our clients during the life cycle of the project.
Each of the founders of INNOVTEC was part of the team that was responsible for the initial development and successful manufacture, distribution and deployment/use of the world’s most successful 3D laser scanning equipment. This new technology captured more than 70% of the world market. Each of us has over nine years experience working together in all aspects of the R&D, manufacture, testing, calibration, sales, distribution, customer training, support and practical use of 3D laser imaging systems in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry.
We participate as the overall project manager for major scanning projects and we provide strong guidance and direction utilizing Best Practices and proven Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedures. We employ the services of our Associated Strategic Partners (ASP’s) on an as-needed basis to meet the requirements of any size of documentation project.
Innovation Technology Partners Inc. provides a better way to satisfy the AEC market’s changing and evolving documentation requirements.
The core members of INNOVTEC’s team have been intimately involved with 3D laser scanning technology since its commercial inception in the mid-nineties. We were responsible for the first practical applications of this technology, with primary emphasis in the AEC field. During this time we executed the first projects that implemented the integration of 3D laser scanning within the BIM concept.
During the past several years principals of INNOVTEC have contributed their knowledge and experience to the development of the GSA BIM Guide for 3D Imaging. We were also instrumental in theoretical and practical explorations of how and when to incorporate 3D laser scanning in the VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) process.
Examples of early modeling of tanks and piping systems. Objects are represented in CAD models to a level of accuracy and precision to meet the most demanding requirements. Nuclear projects are performed giving millimeter accuracy and precision critical components such as spool-piece flanges and faying parts.
Senior INNOVTEC personnel have over fifteen years experience in naval architecture and marine engineering, shipbuilding, and the application of laser scanning technology in new construction and rebuilding of naval and commercial vessels.
